The High Court said no to CBI investigation in the matter of farmhouse conspiracy. The High Court has issued an order to this effect after hearing a petition filed by BJP leader Premender Reddy that they do not have faith in the investigation by the CBI or a special investigation agency.
On the one hand, the SIT has made it clear that the investigation should be continued under the supervision of the High Court. The High Court decided not to leak the details to the police, media, or CMO. “If the details are leaked, those who are heading the SIT will be held responsible,” said the court.
It issued an order to submit the final report regarding the case to Justice Vijay Sen Reddy in a sealed cover on the 29th of this month. The Nampally ACB Court rejected the bail petition of the accused in the Moinabad farmhouse case. The ACB court agreed with the arguments of the government’s lawyer. The public prosecutor argued that if the accused is granted bail during the investigation, there is a possibility of influencing the case and the witnesses.
On the other hand, the police sought a PT warrant against Nandakumar, who is an accused in the same case. To this extent, Banjarahills police have filed a PT warrant in Nampally court. Meanwhile, 2 cases have been registered against Nandakumar in Banjarahills PS. The police requested to allow the accused to be arrested as part of the investigation of the case.
Nandakumar, who is A2 in the MLA purchase case, is already a remand prisoner in Chanchal Guda Jail. If the Nampally court allows the PT warrant filed by the police, the accused Nandakumar will be arrested and produced again in the court.
