Hyderabad: The High Court on Thursday lashed out on TSRTC MD Sunil Sharma over the reports submitted to the court. Stating that the MD misrepresented the numbers in the reports, the High court expressed its discontent for cheating the government, minister and the citizen. The HC has sought an explanation from the Transport Minister for retaining the RTC in-charge MD even after repeated allegation over misrepresentation of numbers in the reports. The court also questioned the missing uniformity in the reports submitted by GHMC, RTC and finance departments.
Reacting to the RTC strike, the High Court questioned the government and employees, as neither of them seems to come forward to hold peace talks despite the court’s repetitive efforts. The court remarked that there was a complete lack of coordination between the government departments. On this note, the High court questioned the authenticity of the reports produced by the in-charge MD. “Should we think that you cheated the Minister of Transport with false numbers or the Court with some completely different numbers?”, the court stated. Though Minister Rama Krishna Rao tried to convince, the court gave a stern warning to the bureaucrats and the minister.
