The situation settled down with the ministers accepting to talk with the activists and promising them severe action against the responsible. Besides the immediate construction of a new chariot, the activists demanded to take measures to conserve the Hindu temples and properties across the state.
Meanwhile, TDP supremo and Leader of the Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu speculated vested interests behind the accident. He also alleged that attacks on idols and properties of Hindu temples across Andhra Pradesh have increased in the past 15 months of the YSRC rule.
