Tensions prevailed high at Osmania University on Tuesday as BJP MP and youth wing President Tejasvi Surya broke through police barriers at the entrance of the university’s NCC gate alleging that Hyderabad police blocked his entry.
Tejasvi Surya accompanied by other BJP leaders and workers barged into the campus while the police issue a statement on the contrary. In a clarification, Hyderabad police stated that no such clash took place inside the University Campus.

Into details, the BJP MP called for a meeting and invited participants of Telangana movement of 1969 at 11:15 AM at the Osmania University. After which, the police has beefed up the security at the university blocking everyone with barricades which read “Entry only for staff and students”.
Earlier, Surya paid tributes to Telangana martyred at Gun Park near Assembly complex. He then lashed out on TRS and its chief as the king of corruption.
