Telangana Jana Samithi president Prof. Kodandaram was arrested by Hyderabad police on Friday. Tensions ran high at Pragati Bhavan while Kodandaram along with CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy tried to hold a black balloon protest against KCR governance.
While Kodandaram was shifted to Goshamahal police station, Chada Venkat Reddy and POW leader Sandhya were taken to different police stations. Talking to Tolivelugu from the police station, Kondadaram warned the Chief Minister KCR that the today’s protest was just the beginning and that a black flag would be hoisted over every house condemning his politically biased decisions.
Prof Kodandaram called for a protest at Pragati Bhavan on Thursday along with a few political parties and public welfare associations. Hyderabad police’s effort’s to hold Kodandaram failed while the leader is not present in his residence from Thursday night.
