Violence broke out at Delhi’s Singhu border on Friday amid simmering tension. With situation running out of hands with the escalating between the farmers and a large group of men claiming to be local residents who hurled stones at and tore down the farmer camps at the Singhu border, the epicentre of farmer protest against three central laws.

The station house officer (SHO) of Alipur Pradeep Paliwal was stabbed during the stone-pelting while two other policemen were injured in the violence. While few of the farmer union volunteers were spotted pacifying the situations, Singhu remained tense even after the police involvement.
