Yesterday, thousands of Hindu community leaders and activists held a huge rally in Mumbai against love jihad and forced religious conversions. All the streets of the city turned crimson with their rally belonging to organizations like RSS, Bajrang Dal, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Under the auspices of Hindu Jan Akrosh Morcha and Sakal Hindu Samaj organizations, a 4 km stretch from Shivaji Park in central Mumbai to Kam Gar Maidan in Parel. This rally went on for a long time.
They raised slogans against forced conversions and love jihad. They demanded strong laws to prevent forced religious conversions. Strict measures should be taken to prevent land grabbing in the name of religion. BJP MLAs, leaders, and activists of the Shiv Sena under the leadership of CM Ek Nath Shinde also participated in this rally.
Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis announced last December that many states have brought laws regarding Love Jihad and the government will study them and take a proper decision.
The communities participating in the rally demanded that the government should take a decision in this regard as soon as possible and strictly implement the relevant laws. States like UP, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Karnataka are just starting to implement these.
