She comes to the store every single day, spends some time and leaves gracefully. Though she doesn’t make any purchase, her presence helped the cloth store owner in boosting the sales like never before. She is neither a celebrity nor a human being at least. A cloth showroom in Mydukur, Kadapa district has hit the tabloids with the unusual visitor. This special appearance brought free publicity to his shop and has also boosted sales. And the all this because of a COW! Yes, a stray cow enters a local cloth store ‘Sairam Showroom’, hangs out for few hours and leaves without harming anyone or even touching anything.

The shop owner Polimera Obayya said that this is going on from eight months and their efforts to shoo her didn’t work. Eventually, even the workers at the shop got accustomed to the visits and started feeding bananas to the cow. The news has spread fast and in turn attracted costumers who are more than happy to have a ‘holy cow’ moment! Surprisingly, the cow doesn’t litter as long as it is in the shop. Lakshmi Narasamma, Obayya’s wife who believes the cow to be a luck factor for them, offers prayers to the latter every day.
