Telangana TRS MLAs purchase case reached Supreme Court. A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Friday on a petition filed by the accused challenging the judgment given by the High Court in this case. On this occasion, the Supreme Court headed by Justice Gawai made several important comments.
The Supreme Court questioned how the High Court could give such different judgments in the Farmhouse case. The Supreme Court has directed the trial court to conduct the trial on merit in the case. Further hearing of this case has been adjourned to the 7th of this month.
Following this, the Supreme Court said that if the bail petition had been filed, they would have been released today. However, the lawyer on behalf of the accused expressed his concern that these cases are strengthening the war going on between TRS and BJP. He said that the police are investigating with bias.
It was argued that although the Magistrate refused to remand the accused, the High Court changed its verdict within two days. After hearing the arguments, the bench of Justice Gavai and Justice BV Nagaratna adjourned the further hearing on the petition to November 7.
