The inauguration ceremony of Shri Ramanujacharya’s statue was celebrated on a grand scale, the events following the event are still going on full-fledgedly. In two days, the ceremony will come to end. Many prominent leaders and famous people are visiting the place to witness the marvelous idol. However, Chief Minister KCR didn’t visit even once ever since the statue was unveiled. Many assume that the reason behind this is not having his name engraved on the plaque.
The names of PM Modi, Chinnajiyar Swamy, and Rameshwar Rao (and family) are comfortably written on the plaque, whereas KCR’s name is nowhere seen. This raised many suspicions amongst the political fraternity and experts- some assuming that Chinnajiyar and Rameshwar Rao did this intentionally, while some state that this is intentionally done by KCR to declare his animosity with Modi and create drama. Some also question if Chinnajiyar and Rameshwara Rao hid this matter from KCR. The big picture is raising some serious suspicions like KCR having dire differences with Chinnajiyar and Rameshwara Rao.
Chinnajiyar is putting efforts to have KCR visit the place at least before the ceremony ends, which is in two days. Leaders from Delhi are coming all the way to Hyderabad to see the statue, while KCR who is 2 hours away is intentionally skipping visiting the statue. On the other hand, he is currently doing the district tours on a large scale. It is also believed that he is trying to highlight that Yadadri was built in a more glorious manner than the Samathamurthy Kshetra. This suspicion came to the limelight as KCR visited Yadadri just the day after skipping the statue unveiling event.
Many dramatic developments took place before and after PM visited the venue. KCR personally oversaw the work in Muchhinthal, even opened up about receiving the Prime Minister in Hyderabad. Despite the explanations given by KCR, there is a serious debate amongst the TRS fraternity on why KCR’s name is not engraved on the plaque, and they are even wondering if he will visit the place after facing such humiliation. Meanwhile, Chinnajiyar is trying his best to make KCR see the place post the inauguration. He is even coming up with a special welcoming event.
It is quite normal for everyone to put the chief minister’s name on any random statue’s plaque unveiled at any part of the city, considering the size and importance of Ramanujacharya’s statue, it is a quite shocking factor to see his name not engraved. TRS leaders are currently debating that KCR will not accept Chinnajiyar’s invitation or will never visit the idol after facing such humilation.
