Is minister Harish Rao’s image deteriorating? Is the dynamic Harish Rao with service motto lost? Yes, is the reply from many ground-level activists who are learned to openly comment that the leader is no more dynamic with his power-packed speeches in public meetings.
Some even stated that the whole state including the Siddipet voters is watching his conspiracies to win the constituency at any cost. Party activists working at the ground level are worried that there is strong public opposition in the constituency as many observed that the CM’s nephew is resorting to threatening and forcing opposition leaders to switch loyalties with the support of local police.
A few also opined that KCR giving the by-polls responsibility to Harish Rao instead of his son KTR was also a deliberate move to avoid unnecessary negativity. Harish Rao who reportedly reached Siddipet upon the instructions of his uncle, has been looking over the party activities in the constituency from his residence.
He was alleged to directly calling a few police heads and instructing them to threaten the opposition leaders. Which has now become the open secret in the constituency’s political circles. A few even suggested that the leader should mend his ways as soon as possible else it would cost the image of the party.
Harish Rao who once shut down the opponents with his logic and presence of mind is observed to be disappointing the morale of activists with his pale comments. His comments that petrol and diesel prices will hike if BJP wins in Huzurabad is one such example. Harish’s comments over opponent Etala’s Knee surgery and BJP-Congress merger left many in shock.
