Despite the party campaigning for months for the upcoming by-polls, seems like the ruling TRS didn’t get the perfect hold to counter the opponent Etala. Constituency ground activists reportedly approached the high command over the weak campaigning strategies which now turned into a headache for the latter with the poll dates fast approaching.
Though the TRS cadre contemplated campaigning against the farmer laws in the poll-bound constituency, the high command itself openly supported BJP. While the TRS leaders tried to hit back the hike in petrol and diesel rates, the leaders are in fix over the taxes levied by the state government.
Reportedly, the TRS leaders given with the campaign responsibilities are hesitant over the points to speak against the BJP government as it would indirectly bring their failure or the alleged co-operation to the BJP. Ultimately, the leaders who approached the high command seem to find a solution that is now drawing sharp criticism.
Party sources have it that the leaders have got clear instructions to go for personal targeting in the campaigning. The leaders were asked to target Etala alleging him of no development and has misused the sanctioned funds. Not paving new roads and sanctioning double bedroom flats are also asked to bring into the campaigning.
