Did the TPCC Chief Revanth give up the Huzurabad by-polls..? Is Revanth who has been going through tough times for the ruling party from the past few months not that serious about the first elections after he assumed offices as the state unit head..?
Why did the state unit field the less familiar Balmuri Venkat instead of Konda Surekha..? Did Revanth join hands with BJP’s contestant Etala..? These are the questions in the political circles and Huzurabad votes. Amidst all the speculations here is a detailed report of what exactly is going on in the poll-bound constituency.
Though the political circles are rife with rumors that Revanth Reddy is ignoring Huzurabad and the polls, sources have it that the leader has been closely monitoring the trends in the constituency. It was learned that defeating the ruling TRS is the only agenda of the TPCC chief in the upcoming polls.
Sources also confirmed that Revanth and his team are continuously analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of TRS and has been making all necessary changes in the Congress election campaign. While many senior leaders approached the chief keen to contest, Revanth was learned to take an ample amount of time to zero down the candidate after consulting high command.
Revanth Reddy seems to think that Congress has an intact vote bank in Huzurabad and that it would benefit the TRS if it fielded a strong candidate. Reports have it that ground-level party workers reported that if Konda Surekha is fielded, it would split the anti-government vote bank which will turn in the ruling party’s favor.
Sources closed to Revanth confirmed the above to be the reason behind fielding the less familiar candidate Balmuri Venkat.
