Telangana seems to hit the election heat with the political parties ramping for huge public meetings. RS Praveen in Nalgonda, Revanth Reddy, and now CM KCR have been holding public meetings reminding the constituency voters of the assembly elections.
The public meetings held so far have witnessed the exchange of heated comments starting with former IPS RS Praveen Kumar who stated that the TRS government has been enjoying the sacrifices of hundreds of people who dreamt of Golden Telangana. Taking to the BSP Rajya Sankalpa Sabha held at Nalgonda NG College Ground, Praveen Kumar lashed out on the ruling TRS and its leaders.
Thanking the Nalgonda people for always standing up for the cause, Praveen Kumar demanded the government to disclose the sources of funds being dispersed under Dalit Bandhu Scheme. “Quality education has become a rich peoples’ affair. The state education system needs a radical shift,” he added. Praveen Kumar then demanded reservations for the poor in the private educational institutions.
The Congress, on the other hand, is planning to hold the Dalit, Girijan Atmagourava Dandora meeting which is estimated to be attended by one lakh followers. The party is also planning to organize protests from August 9th to September 17th.
