With the increasing patronage and demands, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited is finally set to introduce monthly concessional passes from January. This has come as a good news to the daily commuters who completely rely on the metro to reach their workplaces. This move from HMRL’s end was anticipated to be launched by November but was delayed as the officials took time in exploring all possibilities. However, HMRL didn’t announce the tariff plans which came as a disappointment to the commuters. While they anticipated metro to launch a combined pass tickets, which facilitates passengers to travel in Metro, TSRTC city buses and other transport modes as well, the officials gave this partial announcement on the Christmas Day. Sources revealed that HMRL would first introduce station-to-station route pass from January and later launch the general one after a few months.
