TPCC president Revanth Reddy questioned if Chief Minister KCR would really care about the brutal incidents taking place in the state. He was speaking to the media in Delhi in response to the Amnesia Pub affair. He went on to say that it is always the TRS and MIM members who are involved in murders, land encroachment activities, and r*pes. He made it clear that the Congress party would not sit idle looking at the TRS regime tarnishing the image of Hyderabad.
“Looking at CP’s words in the minor girl case, it is clear that he is trying to protect the accused,” Revanth said. He said the car in which the victim was traveling in the incident was a crucial clue. He reminded the police to investigate and give notices to the owners as the people driving were minors.
“Who owns those vehicles? Why were they not interrogated? Why did CP Anand not disclose all those details?” Revanth stormed the police department with a lot of questions. He went on to say that there are various allegations against the KCR-appointed chairman, and the family members of MIM chief Asaduddin. He also said that there was a need to file criminal cases against the car owners. He also questioned why the Innova car was in hiding, and the details were implying that it is in fact a government vehicle.
The opposition parties are questioning not disclosing the details of the car owner when the government vehicle was used for such activities. He questioned why the police did not seize the Innova vehicle from the 28th to the 4th day of the incident. It is suspected that the attempt appears to have been made to protect the real culprits by fabricating and erasing the evidence.
Revanth was incensed that KCR and KTR had turned Hyderabad into a haven for pubs and dr*gs. He further stated that Hyderabad, which was supposed to be a cosmopolitan city, was turned into a poisonous city. He recalled that he had been fighting against substance consumption in the state for years. He explained that the number of pubs in Hyderabad has increased exponentially since KCR became the CM.
He also demanded the immediate revocation of the licenses of the pubs explaining why the owners were not arrested for allowing minors into those spaces. He questioned why KCR was keeping silent when minor girls were being r*ped. He warned that the brand image of Hyderabad would be tarnished. Revanth Reddy immediately demanded that the owners of Innova and Benz cars be charged and arrested.
