In the wake of national-wide lockdown, a number of cases of animals coming into the busy city habitat have been registered across the country. In a recent revelation, a Cheetah was spotted on the busy roads of Katedan industrial area in Hyderabad outskirts. The injured animal was spotted at a road median early in the morning, while the locals were seen attacking the Cheetah when it tried to approach.
Video of the Cheetah went viral on social media while the animal after two hours moved into the nearby bushes. Followed by which it kept the zoo officials on their toes the whole day. The official who received calls over the traces of Cheetah at a 40-acre-farm house started rescue operation with hi-end drone cameras which ended up in vain.
With speculations that the Cheetah might be in the area around Himayat Sagar and Badvel forest, zoo officials have ramped up the rescue operation with the help of dogs. Previously, similar incidents are registered in Tirumala and Adilabad forest area raising tensions in the localities.
