Hyderabad Police arrest six persons for cheating the job seekers

Despite creating awareness to be cautious about the fake consultancies who lure the government jobs in exchange for money, the unemployed are still getting trapped and getting cheated. In one such latest scenario, the Police have arrested six persons on charges of cheating job-seekers by promising them jobs in Railways, Income Tax, SBI and other government departments.
 

 
The team led by P. Venkatesh, the gang members hailing from different districts of Andhra, and Telangana, have cheated over 50 members on the pretext of providing them government jobs in exchange for money.
 
 
According to the police, Rs 12 lakh, fake appointment orders of SBI, Income Tax Department, Railways and National Rural Health Mission were seized from the gang who runs a job consultancy ‘MVM Technologies’.
 
 
The police revealed that promised the job-seekers jobs in government departments, by taking Rs 10 lakh for the same and took the initial advance amount from Rs 3 to Rs 4 lakh from each job seeker.
 
 
What’s more shocking is that the gang had even conducted fake interviews in the visitors’ lounge of Income Tax Offices in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Cochin, Kolkata, New Delhi. Once the candidates got realized that they were cheated, they lodged complaints with the police.
