Days after the ace Indian Badminton player PV Sindhu hit to headlines over the splits with coach Gopichand, the Olympic silver medallist on Monday left twitterati puzzle with a cryptic post. Started with “I RETIRE” written in big and bold letters, PV Sindhu who is now in London penned down a lengthy post which left her fans baffled.
Stating that the Sindhu the Denmark Open was the final straw, the Telugu Badminton player announced her retirement. However, those you jumped into conclusions without reading the whole tweet were left in shock.

Going by the post, she was actually talking about was the negativity spread amidst the pandemic and called upon people to stay focussed & be prepared in order to defeat coronavirus.
“Today I choose to retire from this current sense of unrest. I retire from this negativity,” she wrote, before admitting that she may have given readers “a mini heart attack”. She said that “unprecedented times require unprecedented measures,” read her post.
Many fans and sports lovers who followed the whole post took to the comment box to heave a sigh of relieve, while many found parallels with Indian Cricket player MS Dhoni’s ‘Defiantly Not’ comment.
The Olympic silver medalist had recently posted a picture of herself with ports nutritionist Rebecca Randell of the Gatorade Sports Science Institute, which is the star’s training base during her time there. The shuttler is likely to stay in London for about two months
