Cranking their whip on a number of industrialists and prominent political figures in Hyderabad, Income tax sleuths carried a series of the flash raid on the close aids of TDP and TRS. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s ex-secretary P Srinivas and prominent entrepreneur Pratibha Srinivas Rao, also a close aide of KCR included the list of people whose properties across the state were simultaneously raided by the sleuths. Reportedly, the officials from Income Tax Delhi wing raided properties accompanied by the para-military forces of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) instead of the local police during the raids.
Searches were also conducted on TRS leader and vice-chairman of the State Planning Commission B Vinod Kumar’s brother and Prathima Hospitals chairman Boinapally Srinivasa Rao in the city. According to the sources, the ex-PS was out of station and his mother was alone at home while the officials broke open the lockers recovering the crucial documents. Said to be focusing on the flow of money from big infra companies into subcontractors linked with the prominent politicians during the elections, flash raids were also conducted searches on properties of TDP Kadapa district president Reddappagari Srinivasa Reddy, whose family owns RK Infracorp Private Limited. RK Infra Group had executed several irrigation and roadway projects in Andhra Pradesh.
