Senior IAS officer and former secretary of AP industries department Y Srilakshmi who was under suspension shadow work for a few years was deputed to Telangana during bifurcation. It was learnt that Telangana CM KCR has agreed to assign Srilakshmi, IPS Stephen Ravindra and another IAS to AP upon Jagan’s request. But the officers and the Telugu state CMOs were forced to wait for the Central government’s nod. However, Srilakshmi was seen making all possible efforts to who also approached the CAT over the same.
And now, reports claim that everything is set for Srilakshmi as Telangana government finally relived her from the post. Speculations are rife that the 1998 IAS officer to accord a crucial post in AP CMO anytime soon.
Srilakshmi is the sixth accused in the CBI’s OMC charge sheet that arrayed Janardhan and OMC MD B Srinivas Reddy, IAS officer Kripanandam, and Sabitha Indra Reddy, who was then mines minister, as accused.
