Two days after flood victims had a heated conversation with Minister KTR and hurled abuses on Uppal TRS MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy, yet another politician tasted a bitter experience in Hyderabad. In a shock to the Hayathanagar corporator Saama Tirumala Reddy who came to visit the victims was thrashed by the aggrieved locals at Ranganayakulagutta.
In the video, the locals were spotted getting into a heated argument with the corporator who allegedly ignored numerous complaints over encroachment of local naala which resulted in their houses submerging in rains now. In a while, a few were seen drawing corporate by his collar and thrashing him.
“Leaders are supposed to be with us when we are in a difficulty. We are in a worst-ever jam and no politician has bothered to pay attention to our problems and now they came to visit us if we are alive,” said an angry youth.
It can be noted that Hayathnagar is one of the worst-affected areas in Hyderabad while the locals claim to have trapped in floodwater without food and water from the past two days. Locals lashed out that they suffered silently, with no power, no cooking gas, no food and water.
