With a daily jump of 45,230 new COVID19 infections in the country, India on Monday crossed the 82 lakh cases-mark with the total cases surge to 82,29,313. According to the official data released by the Union Health Ministry, a total of 75,44,798 people have recovered/discharged/migrated so far while there are 5,61,908 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country as on date.
The death toll on the other hand mounted to 1,22,607 with 496 new fatalities in theist 24 hours. Total 11,07,43,103 samples tested for COVID-19 up to 1st November. Of these, 8,55,800 samples were tested yesterday, confirmed ICMR.

Telangana reported 922 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally to2,40,970 while the death toll stood at 1,348 with seven new fatalities. The state government on Monday stated that s many as 17,630are under treatment as the recovery rate in Telangana was 92.12 per cent.
Andhra Pradesh, on the other hand, reported 16 more fatalities due to coronavirus, taking the death toll to 6,706 in the state, while 2,618 new cases pushed the infection count to 8,25,966. 7,95,592 infected people recovered from the viral infection and 23,668 patients are undergoing treatment.
