Congress leader V Hanumantrao was incensed that KCR had insulted the governor. The CM said not going to the Republic Day celebrations was an unfair move. VH said he would meet the governor on the matter. KCR will go down in history as the first CM not to attend the flag salute. He said people were shaking their heads not understanding what was going on in the state.
VH lauded TPCC President Revanth Reddy for speaking highly of Ambedkar on the occasion of Republic Day. He said he was happy to say that he would work for setting up a statue of Ambedkar in Panjagutta. They demanded KCR to place a statue of Ambedkar in Panjagutta if there is respect for SC social class. He further alleged that former MLC Prem Sagar Rao’s men had spoken ill of them when they went to Manchiryala district. He complained to the disciplinary committee.
VH warned that the committee had promised to send KCR a notice.

VH also responded to the formation of new districts in the AP. VH wrote a letter to CM Jagan in this regard. The letter said that the Kurnool district should be named after Damodaram Sanjeevayya, who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. VH lauded Sanjeevaiah for his many services to the people in the Commonwealth.
