Inter Board’s Big Shock for Sri Chaithanya College!
The Telangana State Intermediate Board has taken a crucial decision of cancelling the license of Sri Chaithanya College, Narsingi permanently. The recent suicide issue of Satvik, first year inter student of Sri Chaithanya College, Narsingi has become the hot topic for discussion across the state of Telangana. Moreover, the suicide of intermediate students of the states is on the rise ever since this incident.
The Telangana State Government has immediately alerted on these incidents and on Monday, called for an important meeting of managements of the corporate colleges and Vakati Aruna, Principal Secretary, Education has chaired the meeting. Naveen Mittal, Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, Board officials and members of the management committees of the corporate colleges have attended the same.
The recent suicide issue of Satvik and also in the back ground of nearing dates for the inter and competitive examinations, the meeting has discussed on issues like the enormous pressure on the students in the light of examinations and also the different corrective measures to be taken to ensure that the students are able to keep their composure and prepare and attend the examinations without undergoing any undue pressure and also what kind of preventive measures are to be taken etc., have come up for the discussion. In this context, the invitation was extended to 14 corporate colleges.
However, Education Minister, Sabita Indra Reddy’s absence to such an important and key meeting, has become a hot topic for discussion. On one side when good number of students are losing their lives, yet the minister’s absence to such an important meeting has also raised an eye brow even in political circles and has become a hot topic for discussion. However, it was clarified that because of the delay in the already scheduled ZP meeting only, the minister was forced to be away from not attending this meeting.
