YSRCP government which is already in fix with a series of protests over the ‘three capital’ proposal had to face another jolt from Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). CAT on Tuesday lashed out on the Jagan-led government over the suspension of IRS officer Krishna Kishore. Anguished over the government misusing the power, the tribunal issued orders to the state government to clear the pending salary immediately. Questioning the government of why he was not relieved yet, CAT ordered to issue an explanation within ten days.
Krishna Kishore, who last served as the CEO for APEDB, has been abruptly suspended by the state government with allegations of money laundering. CID has booked a case against him under Sections 188, 403, 409, and 120 (B). Krishna Kishore has since moved the High Court urging it to dismiss the case against him and also approached the Central Administrative Tribunal against his suspension. The CAT has stayed his suspension.
