TRS sources say that Telangana CM KCR has changed his mind. He thought of starting his own party to fight against the BJP at the national level. Almost everything is ready. Moreover, the campaign was also done at a peak level. It was thought that the announcement of BRS would be next, but KCR stopped at the last moment. Now there is a talk that such an idea has been completely put aside. It is said that if the party does not improve the situation in Telangana, they will be in deep trouble on all fronts.
Political analysts say that the proposal to expand TRS to the national level and transform it into Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is far from over. The opposition to the TRS government in the state is increasing day by day and it has reached a worse state with wavering among the TRS leaders. It seems that CM KCR is focusing on fixing the house first. It is reported that he wants to think about BRS only after the people’s dissatisfaction with their rule in the party is quenched.
The performance of the majority of the MLAs in the party, the non-implementation of welfare schemes on time, the construction of double-bedroom houses in particular, and the non-release of pensions on time, have caused great dissatisfaction among the public. Surveys by strategist Prashant Kishore’s team have revealed that it is difficult for TRS to survive in the state. On the other hand, due to MLAs’ style of dealing, the implementation of welfare schemes has become a bottleneck as the Center has kneeled down to collect loans. In this context, the view expressed in political circles is that BRS has been brought to the fore as part of an effort to overcome the dissatisfaction of the people with the sentiment.
KCR has worked out seriously on national politics till now. But at the same time, it seems that they are thinking of putting their own house in order first because no one in the country will care if they lose their grip on the state. No matter how slow KCR is on BRS, efforts are being made to correct the deficiencies as the condition of TRS is deteriorating.
On the other hand, the TRS sources are predicting that the votes will be split between BJP and Congress in the next election in the state and they will win. But current political trends say that if people decide to change, they will flock to some party. Considering all these, KCR seems to have decided to focus on retaining power first. Moreover, if we go ahead, there are expectations that it may come six months earlier. That is why the Chief Minister KCR has completely put aside the idea of BRS and the National Party and has backed down saying that if the party fails to sustain the reputation and favorability in the home state itself, there is no point in taking it to the National level in the name of BRS.
