Hyderabad, Tolivelugu: The new Telangana Secretariat is going to start on the 17th of this month. For this, on the one hand, the work is being done smoothly, on the other hand, huge arrangements are being made. But on Friday morning, fire and smoke billowed from the secretariat, leading to the widespread discussion. It was reported that the fire broke out on the first floor. Heavy smoke spread over the roof. There were reports that there was a fire due to a short circuit on the lower ground floor.
Firefighters reached the spot after receiving the information. A total of 11 fire engines brought the fire under control. Woodwork is going on in the Secretariat. There were reports in the media that the fire broke out in this sequence. But officials say it was not a fire accident but a mock drill. It is said that the security personnel of the secretariat conducted a mock drill, and the fire broke out as part of it.
It is said that a mock drill was conducted on the 5th and 6th floors where the Chief Minister’s office is located. However, some people are questioning how a mock drill can lead to a massive fire. They say why it spreads to other floors in the building. There are different opinions on the fire incident.
