There is a campaign going on for a few days that there will be early elections in Andhra. Looking at the latest developments, it is assumed that it is true. According to CM Jagan’s earlier request, Prime Minister Modi has given the green signal. Talks are going on as if Jagan held discussions with the representatives of the government and the Chief Election Commissioner during this event. It is reliable information that they have been told that they have received a positive message and that the elections will be held early in AP.
BJP’s strategies are also subject to many doubts. BJP has decided not to support any of the two major parties in AP. The BJP leadership thinks that whichever party gets more seats in the Parliament should favor that party as both parties are in favor of them. Looking at this, it is reported that BJP will contest alone.
Compared to the last elections, the BJP is treading very carefully with the survey estimates that this time there will be a decrease of 80 parliamentary seats. Though prepared to contest with TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP, BJP intends to go alone keeping in mind the parliamentary seats. But during the Telangana tour, Pawan Kalyan declared that he is with the BJP. But, the BJP passed a political resolution in the national executive meeting at Bhimavaram. Nowhere in it did they say that they are with the allies but that they will contest with the Janasena.
BJP has decided to grow as an alternative to YCP and TDP. At least they were not interested in recognizing the Janasena. The resolution was approved saying ‘Double engine government should come – AP should develop’. It is clear that there is no possibility of making alliances with TDP and YCP. BJP hopes to decide which party to be close to depending on the number of seats it gets. Pawan is also interested in forming a team with TDP. Three options were put before the BJP. They have definitely said that they will go alone, with the BJP, or with some other alliance. Now there is a discussion that there will be early elections. In this background, it is being spread that BJP is being careful in keeping in mind the Parliament seats.
If you maintain good relations with one party before the election, what will happen if the other party wins? Then if the parliament seats are reduced, will the party support it? It is said that BJP has decided not to team up with anyone after assessing all this.
