Though JanaSena has announced its stand regarding the capital shift proposal present scenarios in the state politics are leaving the political heads in splits. JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan took no step back in lashing out on the Jagan-led government over ‘three capital’ proposal. He even took part in the protests with the Amaravati farmers which didn’t go well with the ruling cadre. However, the actor-turned-politician seems to turn mum over the blazing issue from the past few days. Apart from a couple of urges to the central government to intervene in the issue, the leader was nowhere seen in the active agitations. While the other opposition leaders from TDP and BJP have intensified their stand with a series of protests which ended up with arrests, Pawan’s on-field absence triggered debates in state political circles.
Adding fuel to the speculations, the JanaSena chief has reportedly got a call from BJP high command to make a flash visit to nation’s capital on an immediate note. This call has taken prominence while the state is ablaze with a series of controversial moves from Jagan government’s end. JanaSena calling for an extensive meeting with the party cadre, and immediate setting a Delhi visit has raised the eyebrows of many political heads speculating a mega-merger anytime soon. On this note, rumours that Pawan deliberately softened his stand against capital shift started taking rounds. While the BJP cadre is in no rush to announce their stand on the capital issue, news has it that the high command asked Pawan to stay low for the next few days. If this is believed to be true, can we speculate that Pawan will soon lend his hand to the saffron party to strengthen their base in Andhra?
