The ongoing activities at Janagama had become quite a topic of the state. Police forces are getting hold of the politicians in the districts, placing them under house arrest for no reason. BJP state president Bandi Sanjay has strongly condemned the house arrests and attacks on activists by BJP leaders. He stated that democracy is in serious threat in the state, adding that the teachers who are prepared to protest in a disciplined manner against the G.O. 317 have been detained by the police even after they were protesting peacefully.
Bandi opined that Ambedkar’s constitution is not being implemented in Telangana. “Do you want a democratic constitution bestowed by Babasaheb Ambedkar? or would you prefer a constitution that encourages detentions and house arrests?” Bandi questioned people. He clarified that BJP will obstruct the implementation of a new constitution or the one that suits KCR at any cost and will keep on fighting for people up to any extent.
Meanwhile, he also questioned the house arrests of BJP leaders who had gone to visit BJP activists injured in a TRS gang attack in Janagama. He stated that the Chief Minister’s meeting has become more important than the wounded people who are getting treated at the hospitals right now.
“How much more trouble do people and activists have to go through under the Nizam’s tyrannical rule?” Bandi asked. He warned KCR that his days of doing baseless detentions, house arrests, and hiding in the farmhouse are near.
