Is this what ‘Protocol’ is?

Kodali Nani Receiving Venkaiah Naidu

Netizens appalled over Kodali Nani’s attire while receiving. Be it a common man, celebrity or a politician, protocols are set and followed to respect the law and position held in the government. However, seems like YRSCP Minister Kodali Nani didn’t mind to mend it a bit with his attire. The Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has received an outrage on social media upon his informal attire upon receiving Honourable Vice-President of India Venkaiah Naidu at the Vijayawada International Airport. While the Chief Minister is supposed to receive the Vice-President, CM Jaganmohan Reddy has sent his Minister to the airport accompanied with few other bureaucrats. Kodali Nani wore blue jeans and a casual shirt with the top button undone, which is considered to be quite unusual especially while you receive Vice-President who stands second in Indian order of precedence. “The way AP government welcomed the Vice-President shall remain as a black blot on the state’s culture,” commented a netizen for the tweet posted from the official handle of Vice-President.
