BJP reacts to Minister Harish Rao’s budget speech. Former Finance Minister Etela Rajender spoke near the assembly media point. He said that the schools in the state are bad. At IIT Basra, students asked why they had to stage a dharna for three months. He expressed his concern that there is no proper staff in the residential schools and they are not even paying the rent for the buildings.
It was explained that the facilities are also not proper and there is only one toilet in the school where orphan children study in Sarur Nagar. “There is a situation where children are going out at night. The government, which claims to be the first in all fields, must answer this. They are showing a colorful dream of our village and our school,” said Etela.
Etela said that private hospitals are saying that they cannot provide treatment under Arogya Shree and the government is not giving them money. He criticized that the contractors are not getting money for two or three years and that they are cheating in the name of development. He said that Rs 45,000 crores are being earned in the state through alcohol and people are being made addicted to alcohol.
The shops set up by the KCR government are liquor shops because it is coming to the birth year of Kalyana Lakshmi’s children. He demanded that the money allocated for the schemes should be allocated quickly. He said that the government has a style of saying great things and doing nothing. Etela Rajender further added that a great vision should not be boasted about but should be demonstrated in practice
