A group of senior T Congress leaders filed a complaint at the Moinabad police station against 12 MLAs who switched from the Congress party to the TRS party. The party has demanded to examine the evidence given by the T Congress along with the FIR 455 filed by the MLA pilot Rohit Reddy in the case of baiting of MLAs. In that complaint, it has been stated that an inquiry should also be conducted against 12 MLAs who left the party for political benefits.
Speaking on this occasion, TPCC President Revanth Reddy was angry with KCR. “KCR’s defection politics should be buried. In order to save democracy, it is very necessary to break KCR’s conspiracy to eliminate the opposition,” he said. He demanded a full-scale inquiry into the party defections in Telangana state since 2014.
He criticized that KCR wants to consolidate its power with the party inclusions. ” Consolidating his stance in Telangana has become the main motto of KCR. He was busy working on eliminating the opposition in Telangana. KCR left the regime in the air and started to weaken the opposition. In 2018, KCR’s party won 88 MLAs. The people have given an absolute majority to that party to implement the promises. However, KCR’s mindset has not changed,” said Revanth Reddy.
Revanth Reddy said that his continuous migration of leaders despite coming to power for the second time is proof of KCR’s political thirst. He criticized that KCR could not bear to see a Dalit leader as the leader of the opposition, and therefore encouraged the defection of Congress MLAs. He said that even though the Congress party complained against the defecting MLAs on various occasions, the Speaker did not act fairly.
He said that the government has provided positions and financial benefits to the legislators who migrated from the party. He said that Pilot Rohit Reddy had lodged a complaint in Moinabad Police Station against poaching of MLAs and the evidence to be kept under the jurisdiction of the court had reached the CM and the court had ordered a CBI investigation into this case which is within the jurisdiction of the state. He also demanded an inquiry against 12 people who left the party.
