Reacting to the show cause notices issued over his long leave, RTC JAC chairman and TMU leader Ashwathama breathed fire on the TSRTC management. The JAC leader who played an active role in the indefinite strike called by the employees applied for the leave which was later rejected by the authorities quoting various reasons. However, Ashwathama again approached the authorities to consider his leave under Extra Ordinary Leave(EOL) which aswell was straight away rejected. After which the leader was served with a show-cause notice over his absence.
In an exclusive interview with ToliVelugu, the JAC leader lashed out on the state government and RTC management for deliberately targeting him. He also alleged that a certain section of employees is being harassed by the authorities on purpose. Ashwathama then threw an open challenge if the management could remove him and the employees from their posts if possible. “We are ready to face any consequence that comes our way. Quoting the same slag in economic situations, the authorities restrained the services of 1,000 buses and now harassing the employees without sanctioning leaves,” he lamented.
