Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Delhi visit turned crucial heating up the state politics. Though the political circles speculated it to be a crisp 1-day visit to meet the Modi-Shah duo, Jagan has been on a meeting spree holding talks with various ministers from the past three days. Followed by the main meeting with Prime Minister Modi, Jagan met with Minister of Home Affairs which sparked rumours over YSRCP joining hands with BJP. Adding strength to the rumours, minister Botsa Satyanarayana’s statement in one of the recent press meets, hinted the alliance.
In a recent revelation, Jagan called on to Ravi Shankar Prasad, the union minister for Law & Justice. The meeting took significance amidst the political scenarios in the state while the state government seems to be a fix with a roll of legal controversies. Scrapping the AP Legislative Council and shifting High Court to Kurnool are the two main issues that are said to be brought to the union minister’s notice. Sources revealed that Jagan and Ravi Shankar Pradesh were said to have a good 40-minute-long talk while the minister was said to respond on a positive note.
