Besides the abolition of AP Legislative council, the recent cabinet meeting held many crucial decisions, said the sources. If the information from the trusted sources is believed to be true, the state government has decided to allot as much as 40 acres of land towards Chinna Jeeyar Ashram which is planned to be constructed in the premises of Vijayawada. Though officials refused to respond on the allotment, news has it that all the necessary paper works are on the verge of completion. While the people and media were into the legislative council and three capital bills’ chaos, secretariat sources said that the land allotment went unnoticed which is again speculated to be a deliberated move.
It is to the known knowledge that Chinna Jeeyar Swamy is considered as a holy representation of God for Telangana Chief Minister KCR, the new friend of Jagan. It is an open secret that Chinna Jeeyar Swami’s ashram in Telangana is the power centre for many key decisions taken by the state. The best example to quote KCR’s loyalty to Swamiji is the government allowing almost Rs 10 crores worth land at Yadagiri Gutta temple to the Jeeyar trust for a mere Rs 16 lakhs. And now, seems like Swamiji is spinning his influence wheel in Andhra Pradesh also.
According to the sources, Jagan-led government has allowed the lands near Vijayawada where land costs around Rs 5 crores per acre. While the state is at doldrums, the government which has been in the national media’s eye over the most-controversial decisions welcomed criticism yet again. Rumours also have it that the government is also in thoughts to offer financial help for the construction of the ashram. While the government authorities are yet to respond on this, the news has been triggering ripples in the political circles.
