Amaravati: Jagan’s meeting with Megastar took utmost significance amidst the rumours that there is something else behind Chiru’s invitation to watch ‘Sye Raa’. Though both CMO and people close to Chiru snubbed off the political significance around the meet, a 2-hour secluded talk between Jagan and Chiru added fuel to the fire. Even two days after the meeting in CM’s Undavalli residency, this stood as a hot topic, and now the fresh news is that Jagan has offered the Megastar a Rajya Sabha seat from YSRCP. Chiru who was maintaining a safe distance from politics is said to reject the offer and had reportedly said that he is still regretting his decision to foray into politics earlier. Merging his party ‘Praja Rajyam’ into Congress, Chiru served as the Union Minister in PM Manmohan Singh’s cabinet from 2012 to 2014.
Chiranjeevi has, however, sent signals through interviews during the promotions of ‘Sye Raa’ that he is on a serious note to stay away from politics. Not only this, he stirred up debates with his suggestions to Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan to take careful steps in politics.
