Congress Working President Jaggareddy said the BJP was conspiring to assassinate the Gandhi family politically in the country. Congress is credited with ruling the country for decades. Rahul Gandhi has been staging protests across the country in view of the entire trial. The T-Congress staged a protest in front of the Hyderabad office against the entire case against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.
Jaggareddy recalled that the Gandhi family had made many sacrifices for the country. “And is there anyone in the BJP who has sacrificed anything for the country?” he asked. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has accused the BJP of harassing Rahul Gandhi only as part of a political party achievement.
Godse, who assassinated Gandhi, was criticized by the BJP leader for saying that the RSS had sided with the British in the independence movement and that he was a great man in Parliament. All the leaders who looted the banks were accused of being in the BJP. “Will there be a whole lot of action on them?” he further questioned.
Jaggareddy made it clear that he would support the Gandhi family. He spoke of thwarting Congress from the conspiracies caused by BJP.
