The senior leader grabbed the tabloid headlines with his comments on the recent RTC strikes and KCR’s stubborn stand. The Loksatta founder said that the employees’ demand for RTC merger with the government and the decision to raise agitations were not right. He then stated that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan’s decision of the merger was also a wrong move. ‘Instead of raising agitations causing inconvenience to public, the RTC employees would have gone for a protest with black badges,” said Jaya Prakash. While few of the political analyst supported his comments, it drew flak from the RTC employees.
