Joining the bandwagon of leaders who have been calling it quits to the budding JanaSena, one of the main pillars of the party JD Lakshminarayana resigned from his responsibilities on Thursday. Elaborating the reasons behind his exit, JD released a letter saying that he is disappointed with the party chief Pawan Kalyan. The resignation came as a huge jolt to the party cadre who are busy in resurrecting the party grounds with its new alliance BJP. The former CBI Joint Director who rose to fame with Jagan disproportionate case, established himself as an honest and strict officer joined hands with Pawan Kalyan playing a decisive role in JanaSena.
In his letter addressed to Pawan Kalyan JD expressed his disappointment over the actor-turned-politician’s recent decisions. “On several occasions, you said you would not go back to films but you did. This only implies the lack of stability,” read his letter. Wishing best for Pawan’s future endeavours, JD stated that he would be always available for Janasainiks, Party Cadre, Veera Mahilas, and the citizens. On the other hand, sources revealed that JD was against Pawan’s will to join hands with BJP. Though the leader was maintaining a safe distance from the party activities from the past few months, his participation in the recent long march in Vizag long march snubbed the rumours. However, the leader didn’t announce if he would take a political retirement like his fellow bureaucrat Jaya Prakash or shift loyalties with another party.
