Former joint director of Central Bureau of Investigation and retired IPS officer V V Lakshminarayana who has been one of the main pillars of the JanaSena party set shock waves with his resignation back in January.
Though the exact reasons behind his quits are still unknown, what the former JD disclosed in his resignation is that he was not happy with the party chief’s decisions to go back to films.
Despite speculations that JD would join hands with BJP, he was seen quite away from the active politics. However, Lakshminarayana’s name rang in the state political circles with reports claiming that the former bureaucrat is all set to join hands with BJP-JanaSena alliance anytime soon.
Further, his close associations confirmed the re-entry but have refused to disclose which political party he would be joining next. But all thanks to his hints in the past few months, political analysts caught his lauds for the Union budget 2020 introduced by the BJP-led NDA government.
JD also welcomed the Citizenship Amendment Act introduced by the Centre which back then drew flak from all ends of the country. Inside information confirmed that BJP which has been trying all odds to strengthen its roots in Telugu states promised Vizag MP ticket to Lakshminarayana.
However, now that JanaSena has been a strong alliance of BJP in AP, all eyes are now on party chief Pawan Kalyan who has had a rough patch with JD over the re-entry into films.
The former CBI Joint Director who rose to fame with Jagan disproportionate case, established himself as an honest and strict officer joined hands with Pawan Kalyan playing a decisive role in JanaSena.
