Jharkhand woman gave birth to ‘quintuplets’…all are girls..!
In one of the rare incidents, a woman gave birth to ‘quintuplets’ i.e., five babies in a single delivery! Incidentally, all of them were girls. The woman gave birth to five children in a normal delivery. Doctors said that the premature babies were born at seven months. The incident happened in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The details are…Geeta Yadav is a woman living in Bhatgaon Village in the Surajpur district of Jharkhand. Being a dwarf woman, Geeta had to face many problems in conceiving. She was also constantly on medication and undergoing treatment…and finally, she conceived. On Monday, after suffering from stomach pains, the woman was admitted to RIMS in Ranchi.
The RIMS doctor’s team led by Doctor Shashi Bala Singh took care of the delivery. The Doctor said that the mother’s condition is good now. He also said that all the newly born baby girls are doing well. Children are under the supervision of doctors. RIMS management revealed that this is the first time in Jharkhand that ‘quintuplets’ children were born in the same delivery.
As the woman happens to be too short and also that her body condition is weak and may not be able to cooperate, the Doctors…originally thought of going for Caesarian so that the delivery would be completed. However, with the help of an expert Doctors’ team, they can execute their ask of completing the delivery…that too a normal delivery. The Doctors shared that the weight of the baby girls is about 2 Kilograms.
