Juggling with his political and acting endeavours, the acting legend Kamal Hassan took a break off the busy life to spend some quality time with family and friends. As the talented and versatile actor turns 65, his family and friends celebrated the occasion in his residences at hometown Paramakudi, a small village in Tamilnadu. Starting from today, Kamal will reportedly spend the next three days in his hometown while the celebration continues with a ceremony in which he unveils his father D Srinivasan’s statue. The ‘Bharatheeyudu’ actor also announced that he has plans to start a talent development centre at the ancestral home at Paramakudi. This year also marks Kamal’s 60 years of his film career.
Kamal’s daughter and heroine Shruti Hassan took to her social media account to wish his father dropping a cute picture with Kamal and her sister Akshara. ‘Happiest birthday to such an amazing father, best friend. You have always pushed us to always be better and achieve better ; you have been a true example of these qualities and much more. I hope this year brings you much more and all the success in what ever you choose,” wrote Akshara.
