Governor Bhagat Singh was learnt to express displeasure over chief minister Uddhav Thackarey’s inept handling of the Kangana Ranaut episode which drew sharp criticism from all ends. Sources at Raj Bhavan confirmed that the Governor was instructed to submit a report to the Centre on the controversy.
While the meeting between Koshyari and Mehta reportedly lasted for about 20 minutes, Ajoy Mehta, the principal secretary to the Chief Minister was instructed to submit a detailed report in the next couple of days over the consequences that led to the demolition.
