The ugly tweet war between Bollywood firebrand Kangana and Punjabi actor, singer Diljith Dosanjh over the farmer protests at Delhi left the social media divided.
While Diljit empathised the women farmers fighting for justice against the new farmer bill, the controversial actress called the protestors fake which sparked the war of words.
A day after which the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has now sought action against Kangana. Sending a legal note to the actress, Punjab’s political party sought an unconditional apology for ‘derogatory tweet calling the aged mother of a farmer as a woman available for Rs 100′.
Another petition was filed against the ‘Manikarnika’ actress requesting the suspension of her Twitter account over spreading continuous hatred and disharmony across the nation through her tweets. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee as well slapped a legal notice on the actress.

It all started with Kangana sharing a meme and writing on Twitter that an elderly woman, who was protesting for the rights of farmers, is a paid artist hired for Rs 100. The now-deleted tweet had angered Diljit Dosanjh and triggered a war of words between the two.
