Taking to the zero hour during the second day of the Monsoon session in Parliament, actress-turned-politician Jaya Bachchan gave out a scathing reply to ‘drugs conspiracy in Bollywood’ statement.
Hitting back the allegations made by BJP MP and film actor Ravi Kishan’s comments in parliament, Jaya Bachchan fumed that she was ashamed and embarrassed over the negative campaigns against the film industry.
“People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree,” she said urging the government to take action.
In no time, Kangana swung into action asking Jaya if she would do the same thing if her daughter or son is being molested and drugged as a teenager. Further, she alleged that the acclaimed families in the industries are either staying mum or passing gyan instead of supporting the efforts of cleaning the industry from drug menace engulfing Bollywood.
