KCR is clearly plotting a big sketch to expand BRS in Andhra, leaving lesser work for his party members. The talk of the town among the BRS forces is that they will grow into a strong political force in Andhra Pradesh by including the Kapu, Balija, Vaishya, Koppula, Velama, Dalit, and Muslim communities. It is said that the party will walk in the footsteps of the celebrated Andhra’s Chanakya -KVP.
Already, the Andhra Kapu community is overwhelmed by the love shown by various political parties. BJP is strictly following the formula of state power through the kapu vote shown by its leader Ram Madhav. They are trying to show that they are working for the welfare of Kapu while handing over the leadership to that group.
On the other hand, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan says that he will build a caste-free party. But, his followers bluntly say that their goal is to unite the Kapu community. As far as Telugu Desam is concerned, BC has given up the support of that party from the beginning and showed love for Kapu before the last election. It rained blessings with Kapu Corporation. YCP is also not behind in its love for kapus. The kapu faction in that party gave a big blow to the leaders.
Along with all the parties, now KCR has once again brought the Kapu agenda to the Andhra political arena. They are strategizing to unite the Kapus divided by vote bank politics. And political pundits want to see to what extent KCR’s caste integration under the leadership of Kapu will bear fruit.
