All thanks to ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan turned to a new heartthrob of India while his fan following exponentially increased overnight.
Though the corona lockdown brought an unexpected recession in Bollywood with lakhs of people losing their bread and butter, the ‘Luka Chuppi’ seems to make most of it.
If trade sources are to be believed, Karthik Aaryan has taken home Rs 20 crore for the Ram Madhvani directed thriller ‘Dhamaka’. What shocked the Bollywood circles is that the actor was required to shoot just 10 days. This is by far the highest an actor of his generation has been paid, making him one of the highest-paid actors.
To note, the 30-year-old actor has shown great consistency, with four superhits —‘Pati Patni aur Woh’, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’. Karthik was also seen endorsing more than a dozen of brands banking his growing popularity.
