Kavitha’s video; Womens’ bill…
After attending to ED’s interrogation at Delhi, BRS MLC Kavitha is back to Hyderabad. And she has released a special video related to Womens’ reservation bill. In the video, she has called upon everyone to come together in unison. Kavitha emphasized the need on the occasion of Navratri to fight the odds and move on to achieve success by breaking all the barriers.
Kavitha says that they are asking for the proper representation of women in the Legislatures. And their demand is to give 35% of reservation for women in Legislatures and she says that they are not asking for anything more. In the recent past, she has intensified the agitation for passing the Womens’ reservation bill in the Parliament. She was on a one day protest fast at Delhi on this issue. She is demanding that the bill has to be passed during the current Parliament session ONLY. Kavitha was critical of the BJP Government at Centre as they are neglecting the Womens’ reservation bill, though they have got majority of MPs in the Parliament.
Three days back, Kavitha was on a visit to Delhi to attend Delhi liquor scam case interrogation at the ED’s office. On 20th March 2023 & on 21st March 2023, the ED authorities have questioned her on the scam and related issues. Since there is no clarity on the next date of interrogation, Kavitha has since returned to Hyderabad. She straight away went to Pragathi Bhavan. She met CM KCR and apprised him of the developments of the three days of her visit to Delhi.
Kavitha is also believed to have explained all the issue related to her interrogation by the ED in Toto to CM KCR about how the ED interrogation went on and all other related details. Also discussed with him by sharing the questions asked by the ED on 20th & 21st March 2023 and the answers given by her…how many questions were asked, how many questions she has answered and once the session is completed…for how many hours she was kept waiting and any other details were asked by them etc..
